Services for David will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, April 18, 2011, at Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter with Mike Kneeland officiating. Family and friends are invited to gather one hour prior to services. The family requests that friends and neighbors join them for lunch following the service in Brenny’s Reception Room.

He was born on April 5, 1917, in Mayhew Lake Township, Minn., to Carl and Grace (Garzmams) Vierkant. He married Irene M. Demo on Dec. 3, 1938, in St. Cloud.

Shirley “Shirl” Ann Green passed away April 12, 2011 at her Brainerd residence of more than 20 years. She was born on Oct. 8, 1946 in Brainerd to Art and Elsie Graber. Shirley is preceded in death by her parents; and brother, James “Jimmy” Graber. Left to cherish her memory are daughters, Lynna (David) Strom, Shelley Green; and granddaughter, Allie Marie, all of Minneapolis.
