He was born Dec.12, 1982, in Fairmont Minn.

Dustin enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with his family. His son, Logan, and stepson, Kaleb, were the joys in his life along with special friend, Amber.

Ross Allen Hardesty, 77, of Brainerd, passed away Sunday, Sept. 11, 2011, at Essentia Health St. Joseph’s Medical Center. He was born in Seward, Neb., June 22, 1934, to Elmer and Thelma (Jarrett) Hardesty. He was married to his wife Janice for 45 years. Together they had three children, Michael, Mark and Jeanette.

Darrell Brown

BACKUS — Darrell Brown, 79, of Backus, passed away on Sept. 9, 2011, at his home with family and friends at his bedside after a battle with cancer.

He was born Jan. 5, 1932, to Maude and Frank Brown in Minneapolis.

Darrell was a member of the American Legion Post 368 in Backus and VFW Post 3839 in Jenkins. He retired after 30 years of being employed by Natrogas Propane in Pequot Lakes.

George F. Fawcett, 98, of Duluth, formerly of Nisswa, died Aug. 31, 2011, in Duluth, Minn. Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, Sept. 19, 2011, at Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery near Little Falls. Military Honors will be provided by the Minnesota National Guard Honor Guard. A reception will follow at the Brenny Funeral Chapel Reception Room in Baxter. George was born July 20, 1913 in Ocheyedan, Iowa. On Oct. 8, 1940, he was united in marriage to Katherine McClain. The couple was married for 69 years before she passed away on Sept. 10, 2008. George enlisted in the U.S.

EMILY — Rev. Weston Trucker, 87, Emily, Minn., Promoted to Glory Sept. 7, 2011. He dedicated his life to introducing people to Jesus and discipling them in God’s word. He was preceded in death by Violet Trucker. Survived by brother, Roger Trucker; daughters Kathy White (Tim), Linda Cline and Sharon Trucker; grandkids Elissa Miller (Brad) and Matt White; and great grandkids Tovin, Zori, Zia and Zana Miller.
