LITTLETON, Colo. — Gayle Margaret Sjoberg, of Littleton, Colo., formerly of Brainerd and Mora, Minn., passed away on Sunday, April 14, 2013, at her home. She was 48 years old.

CROSSLAKE — Laura Damm, 50, of Crosslake, died at her home on Saturday, April 13, 2013. Funeral services for Laura will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, April 19, at Crosslake Evangelical Free Church “The Log Church” in Crosslake with Pastor Fred Cressman officiating. Family and friends are invited to gather Thursday evening from 5-7 p.m. at Brenny Funeral Chapel in Crosslake and one and a half hours prior to services at the church on Friday.

Marie Sorenson, age 89, of Brainerd, and formerly Pine River, passed away Sunday, April 14, 2013, at Essentia Health-St. Joseph’s Medical Center. She was born in Deer River, Minn., to Lee and Lydia (Forster) O’Bryan. Marie lived in Pine River most of her life and was a 40-year member of the Pine River Legion Auxiliary, serving a term as president. She loved her needlepoint and enjoyed gardening.

Marie is survived by her son, Richard; daughter, Phyllis; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and friends.

CROSSLAKE, Minn. - Kathryn A. (Bain) Young, 78, of Crosslake, died at her home on Saturday, April 13, 2013. Services will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at Crosslake Presbyterian Church with Pastor Kate Stangl officiating. Interment will be at the Linwood Cemetery in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Memorials are preferred to Crosslake Presbyterian Church or Marion, Iowa Church.
