BAXTER - Robert B. Dwyer, age 65, of Baxter, died Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2009, at his home.

STAPLES - Geroline Tresa (Gerri) Eisel, age 73 1Ú2, of Staples, Minn., passed away peacefully at the Clarissa Nursing Home on Nov. 4, 2009, from lung cancer.

MOTLEY - Carol McDonald, of Motley, died Nov. 5, 2009, at the Lakewood Health System in Staples. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter.

IRONTON - La Von "Pete" Ranum, age 83, of Ironton, passed away Nov. 3, 2009, at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Minneapolis. Memorial services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, 2009, at Crosslake Lutheran Church, Crosslake, Minn. Family and friends are invited to gather beginning at noon at the church. Interment will be in the Crosslake Lutheran Church Columbarium.
