CROSBY — Leander “Lee” C. Hentges, 90, Crosby died on Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at Cuyuna Regional Medical Center in Crosby, Minn. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Immaculate Heart Catholic Church in Crosslake, Minn., with Father Ryan Moravitz officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the church. Interment will be held at Lakeview Cemetery in Blackduck, Minn., with graveside services at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 28, 2013 with Father Raul Perel-Cobo officiating.

Lawrence H. Haines age 81 of Mountain Home, Ark., passed away Wednesday, May 1, 2013. Mr. Haines was born Jan. 8, 1932 in Pinehurst, N.C., to Willis and Helen (Taylor-Earl) Haines. He married his wife, Virginia Gottwalt, in Pierz, Minn., on Oct. 18, 1956. Mr. Haines served his country in the United States Air Force for 20 years. After retirement from the Air Force, he was the superintendent for the Parks and Recreation Department at Brainerd, Minn. He retired in 1988, after 18 years of service. Mr. Haines was a member of St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, the America Legion Post No.

Arlene L. Bloom, age 79, born in Minneapolis June 25, 1933. Entered into the presence of her Lord Jesus Christ, May 18, 2013. Preceded in death by mother and father, Freda and Eric Lundberg; husband, Les Bloom, brother, Will; and sister-in-law, Rose Lundberg. Survived by her three sons and families; and many relatives and friends. Raised their family in Richfield, moved to the Brainerd lakes area on Upper South Long Lake and returned to Richfield to live out her life. Longtime employee of Christmas Point, Baxter.
