C-I’s victory hungry Rangers had vengeance in their mind on their home field as they ended a Brainerd domination that started in 1946. The Rangers struck early for a 19-0 lead and rolled to a 24-7 triumph. Bill Selisker scored for Brainerd on a 96-yard run.

Avenging the defeat they suffered last year, Brainerd’s blue and white Warriors crushed Aitkin Friday by a 42-0 score. Clicking smoothly on every play, Brainerd had little difficulty in marching down the field seven times to score.

The Barrows mine of the Virginia Mining Co., a subsidiary of the M. A. Hanna Co., is today hoisting its first iron ore. The iron is of good quality and comes from the No. 2 Shaft. Capt. C. E. Hendrick visited the mine yesterday and inspected the work.

The only johnson we had didnt work very good in the winter. I found it hard to mount that outboard on a sled.

& it freezes in Mexico!!
