(Photo) This 27-pound northern, the largest yet reported speared in Paul Bunyan Vacationland this winter, was lanced at Pelican Lake by Mark Kuschke of Merrifield. The lunker was 42 inches long and measured 22 inches around.

F. W. Hagberg, elected by voters to the office of county auditor, has sold the Hagberg Implement Co. to E. W. Nelson, former farm and barn equipment salesman. Improvements are being made to the building at 316 South 7th Street, Brainerd.

100 years ago (1910)
