Chamber’s Eggs and issues
event set for Dec. 14
BAXTER — Newly elected Brainerd lakes area lawmakers and business spokespersons are scheduled to address the Brainerd Lakes Chamber’s Eggs and Issues session from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. Dec. 14 at Arrowwood Lodge at 6967 Lake Forest Road in Baxter.
Members of the chamber and their invited guests may share their perspectives and learn about upcoming topics at the session, which begins Jan. 8.
The cost is $20 per person and includes a hot breakfast buffet.
After opening comments and introductions by chamber CEO Lisa Paxton, Bill Blazar, senior vice president of business development and public affairs for the Minnesota Chamber Federation, will discuss his organization’s priorities.
Legislators will have the opportunity to share their perspectives on federation priorities and respond to questions.
Breakfast participants may walk up to the microphone to ask questions or submit written questions. Advance reservations and cancellations will be accepted until 8 a.m. Dec. 12. Cancellations after that time will require payment. Interested persons may register online at the chamber website or call 822-7107.
After the conclusion of the event, a private legislator orientation will be conducted for invited attendees only.
