All the Deerwood candidates who filed for a seat on the Deerwood City Council ran unopposed.
Mayor Michael Aulie had 238 votes. On the city council Debby Leonard had 187 votes, Jessica Richau had 162 votes and Mark Severson had 217 votes. Severson ran in the special election for city council.
