EDINA, Minn. (AP) — After a heated campaign season, several Minnesota voters say they are ready for Election Day to arrive.
Outside a Starbucks in Edina (ee-DY'-nuh), retired Hennepin County sheriff's detective Charlie Kelly said Monday he's "sick of reading lawn signs."
Kelly says he's known for months he would support Republican Mitt Romney for president. But on Minnesota's two most hard-fought statewide races — the proposed constitutional amendments to prohibit gay marriage and require a photo ID to vote — Kelly says he just made up his mind Sunday. He plans to vote no on both.
Annalee Habstritt, a Minneapolis stay-at-home mom who describes herself as "a good liberal," says she'd vote for President Barack Obama, and against both amendments.
Habstritt finds the flood of campaign commercials on TV this year distressing.

Add commentI just wonder
How many I.D.s that Mr Kelly has made people show HIM over the Yrs??
It will be the sweet smell of hope and freedom
If both amendments fail.
I, for one, will relish
your wails of anguish when they both pass.
Hey FUB,
if you decide to move (to Canada or elsewhere) after the results of the election, I suspect there are any good number of volunteers who will help you pack.
I had friends move to Canada
They had to be younger, well educated, healthy and know how to speak French. FUB won't be deporting.
I have more people that respect me
eyolf than you libs on here. You and your friends and ilk aren't the type of people I care to have respect me. Chey is included in that classification. I rather enjoy the fact that more people respect me for not being like you and yours. Glad to see you swing the "widely" term like that. And here I thought you always spoke of "tollerance" and such things. It just goes to show that liers are everywhere and they don't have to be running for office to qualify. Your God will judge you and I hope he allows all the lies you have posted to this site over the years.
You're a legend
in your own mind, FUB.
Ahh, but,, eyolf,,
you always set yourself up as above the rabble, while at the same time talking down at us mortals. cred-jed, really? If it wasn't for your children doing well in school you wouldn't
be bragging about spelling. By the way, my children did well in school.
If you bear me no ill will, why have you personally attacked me on here for years?
Because I exposed your lies about you gas guzzling vehicles? Get over it. When you bragged about taking the kids to school in a rusted little foreign pickup you were driving a big old Ford pickup and burning gas as fast as the rest of us. You are just as bad as Al Gore poluting everything to tell us not to polute. Hypocrites are BAD. Leave me alone eyolf, you can not win this one. You Lied and I didn't. Quit stalking me.
Chey, I amost forgot,
Your Pals promised to riot and burn if Obama loses. Are you OK with that? If so, send me your address, tough guy!
What are you babbling about FUB?
Get some sleep.
LMAO
Looks like the Native's were restless last night ehh??
Must be Election Time!!!
Did you notice the four
on one there, OFB? Those communist thugs need a gang to face up to anyone. But eyolf wanted me to say that. he revealed himself long ago on here. I crossed no line. he even invited me with this: "Never owned a Toyota PU. Two cars; a sedan and a wagon. If you had really figured out who I am, you might have known that. Better start driving around again to see if you can pick up more clues."
Quit stalking me.
"Eyolf, you should have a scrapper haul that old pickup and those other wrecks away that are sitting in the weeds east of your house."
Who's stalking who? Look, I don't agree with Eyolf's politics any more than you but if somebody started talking about, and describing where I lived while they remain annonymous I might feel threatened by that. Un-cool. You've crossed a line.
Things
Things sure are going to be quieter now.
We knew President Obama would win, we just let you dream.
