A report at 6:36 a.m. Sunday of an individual trying to break into an apartment on the 700 block of South Eighth Street.
PROPERTY DAMAGE — A report at 5:04 p.m. Sunday of a vehicle crashing into SuperAmerica, 421 NE Washington St. Female subject fled on foot and then an unknown person drove the vehicle away from the location a short time later. Vehicle and female driver were located on F Street and she was cited for brakes not working properly.
THEFT — A report at 5:01 p.m. Sunday of a theft from a vehicle on the 1400 block of Oak Street.
A report at 6:06 p.m. Saturday of a theft of a Social Security number and receiving a bill from Sears.
A report at 7:56 a.m. Saturday of a subject not able to pay their cab fare with Brainerd Area Taxi. Complainant and taxi service made agreement for payment.

DISTURBANCE — A report at 2:14 p.m. Friday of an intoxicated male throwing toys at the back of a house on the 400 block of Fourth Avenue Northeast.
KIDNAPPING — A report at 8:13 p.m. Wednesday of victim being kidnapped by two unknown males on the 100 block of Nikkohl Road. The complaint was unfounded and a long-form complaint is being filed for falsely reporting a crime.
ARRESTS — A 17-year-old male was cited at 1:18 a.m. Friday for liquor consumption/under 21 and social host on the 900 block of South Eighth Street.
A 30-year-old man was arrested at 10:21 p.m. Thursday on the 800 block of South Eighth Street for felony domestic assault by strangulation and misdemeanor domestic assault.
A 24-year-old man was arrested at 10:46 p.m. Wednesday on the 1500 block of Ninth Avenue Northeast for felony domestic assault and gross misdemeanor of interfering with a 911 call.
THEFT — A report at 9:21 a.m. Saturday of a theft of a purse from a shopping cart at Wal-Mart, 7295 Glory Road.
PARKING — A report at 9:02 a.m. Friday of a male sleeping in a vehicle for days in the parking lot at Wal-Mart. Officers advised man he could no longer stay there.
CITED — A 19-year-old female was cited at 1:50 a.m. Thursday for underage drinking and driving on College Drive and Highland Scenic Road.

BOMB — A report at 4:45 p.m. Friday requesting the bomb squad run for a suspicious package in Detroit Lakes which was unfounded.
DISTURBANCE — A report at 7:31 p.m. Thursday of a 30-year-old brother out of control and caller wants him removed in Deerwood.
BURGLARY — A report at 6:30 p.m. Sunday of a burglary on the 1400 block of Third Street Northeast.
THEFT — A report at 2:06 p.m. Nov. 25 of a theft of a PS3 on the 200 block of Eighth Street Northeast.

THEFT — A report at 1:13 p.m. Sunday of a theft of a wallet while at Johnny C’s, 108 Broadway E.
A report at 4:20 p.m. Saturday of a theft of a license plate off a car parked on the 100 block of Lemieur Street.
A report at 4:18 p.m. Saturday of a theft of wood from a pile in a back yard on the 900 block of Third Avenue Northeast.
ARREST — A 50-year-old was arrested at 6:11 p.m. Friday for DWI on First Avenue Northeast and 11th Street.
DOMESTIC — A report at 8:47 p.m. Friday of a couple pushing and shoving in the Schaefer’s parking lot, 23962 Smiley Road. Officer responded and stopped the suspect vehicle in the Positive Realty parking lot. An older female driver advised that the party’s involved were her adult sons who had too much to drink and started fighting in the vehicle. She pulled into the Schaefer’s lot to get the situation under control. The suspects advised they would not be a problem and agreed to calm down.
PROWLER – A report at 8:21 p.m. Nov. 25 that complainant believed someone was in her in her garage at a Grandview Lodge unit off of Highway 371. She stated she went to the unit about two hours earlier and had secured the vehicle in the attached garage of the unit and went inside. When she went into the garage for a cigarette she found a one dollar bill laying face up on the passenger seat with the word “root” wrote across the face of it. She did not believe the bill had been in the car earlier.

FIRE — A report at 8:10 a.m. Nov. 25 of a structure fire in the Tri Plex on Pheasant Lane. Ideal Fire and North Ambulance were called for standby.
