ARRESTS — A 47-year-old man was arrested at 1:35 a.m. Sunday on Charles Street and Northwest Sixth Street for third-degree driving while intoxicated (DWI).
DISTURBANCE — A report at 4:29 p.m. Sunday of an individual saying derogatory terms to juveniles on the 700 block of Brian Lane.
A report at 8:29 p.m. Saturday of an individual saying derogatory comments to female juveniles on the 700 block of Laurel Street.
A report at 1:10 p.m. Friday of a female student causing a disturbance with staff at Brainerd High School, 702 S. Fifth St.
A 15-year-old male student was cited at 11:09 a.m. Friday for disorderly conduct after causing a disturbance at Brainerd High School, 702 S. Fifth St., and refusing to leave.
THEFT — A report at 9:27 a.m. Friday of a theft of two afghans on the 800 block of Wright Street.
PROPERTY DAMAGE — A report at 9:20 a.m. Saturday that the baseball dugout, 5672 Baxter Lions Road, was damaged. Damage appeared to have been caused by strong winds.
INFORMATION — A juvenile at Forestview Middle School, 12149 Knollwood Dr., Friday reported inappropriate conduct on a bus.
ARRESTS — A 33-year-old woman and a 31-year-old man were arrested at 12:13 p.m. Friday for felony theft at Wal-Mart, 7295 Glory Road.
THEFT — A report at 9:22 a.m. Friday of a theft of a beaver trap that was in a culvert on Cedar Scenic off Memorywood. Value is $30. It’s possible a beaver was in the trap, then $40 value. The complainant is contracted by the city to trap.

BURGLARY — A report at 1:26 p.m. Sunday of a vacant home that was broken into on the 10000 block of Crow Wing County Road 144, Brainerd.
A report at 1:44 p.m. Friday of a burglary on the 9000 block of County Road 45, Brainerd.
DOMESTIC — A report at 5:36 p.m. Saturday of a white male, with a blue jacket who threw a female in the ditch on the 40000 block of Bloomquist Drive, Emily. Female was located and denied altercation.
THEFT — A report at 8:23 p.m. Friday of a theft of license plats on the 10000 block of Crooked Lake Road, Deerwood.
A report at 2:59 p.m. Friday of a theft of mail from a mailbox on the 20000 block of County Road 12, Ironton.
Chaparral Restaurant, 10000 block of County Road 3, Friday reported a theft of pulltab money.
Pine River police
ARREST — A man was arrested Oct. 8 for domestic assault, making terroristic threats and disorderly conduct on Lindbergh Avenue.
CRASH — A report at 1:15 p.m. Saturday of a vehicle crash in the alley on the 300 block between Fifth and Sixth Street Northeast. The driver of the vehicle was backing out of the garage, and due to brake failure, struck a garage and fence. No injuries were reported.
ASSIST — Assisted the Staples Fire Department at 9:42 a.m. Friday with a possible gas leak on the 900 block of Long Prairie Road.
ARREST — A 22-year-old man was arrested at 1:04 a.m. Friday for felony domestic assault-strangulation on the 400 block of Fifth Street Southeast.
WELFARE — Responded at 3:54 a.m. Oct. 9 to Lakewood Health System, 49725 County Road 83, to a report a combative patient. Police were then notified that the subject ran out of the emergency room into the swamp. The subject was located and brought back to the emergency room.

THEFT — A report at 10:25 a.m. Sunday of a theft on the 500 block of Fifth Street Southeast.
A report at 7:20 p.m. Thursday of a theft of a vehicle on the 800 block of Seventh Street Northeast.
ARREST — A 19-year-old man was arrested at 9 p.m. Saturday for fifth-degree drug possession during a traffic stop on Highway 10 and Iris Road.
PROPERTY DAMAGE — A report at 8:44 a.m. Saturday of damage done to six mailboxes on Lindbergh Drive.
FIRE — A report at 5:57 p.m. Friday of a vehicle that was in the ditch and was on fire on Highway 10. Fire was put out and the driver was arrested for DWI.
SPEEDING — A driver was cited for speeding at 4:50 p.m. Thursday on Highway 10 and First Avenue Northeast. When officer pulled the vehicle over, the driver stated “I know why you stopped me. I am coming from the St. Cloud area and I am late for my daughter’s soccer game here in Little Falls. I know you’ve heard every excuse before but that’s why I was speeding.” The officer issued the driver a citation for speed.
