Jury trial set for man acused of abusing young boys
A jury trial scheduled last month for Thomas Richard Erickson, who is accused of allegedly sexually abusing young boys over the past several decades at his Nisswa home, was pushed back in Crow Wing County District Court.
Judge Richard Zimmerman scheduled a new jury trial date of May 28 for Erickson.
Erickson was charged Aug. 26, 2011, with two counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct and five counts of second-degree criminal sexual conduct. The ages of the victims at the time of the assault ranged from 6-14 years old.
In the criminal complaint, investigators interviewed several victims stating they were sexually abused by Erickson several times while they stayed overnight at his home.
