OTHER — An Ironton woman made a report at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday that she wanted to press charges on her daughter and her daughter’s friend that called her at 5:30 a.m. and told her lies.

SUSPICIOUS — A report at 4:49 p.m. Tuesday of a suspicious male attempting to strike a car with a broom stick in the area of Washington Street and Northwest Fourth Street.

THEFT — A report at 1:34 p.m. Tuesday of a theft of a checkbook and wallet on the 700 block of Laurel Street.

ARREST — A 26-year-old man was arrested at 12:53 p.m. Tuesday for fifth-degree possession of a controlled substance.
