Police blotter - Jan. 9
Baxter police
ARREST — A 44-year-old woman was arrested at 3:49 p.m. Tuesday on the 13000 block of Kelly Drive for fourth degree assault on a police officer and obstructing with force.
Brainerd police
SUSPICIOUS — A report at 6:45 p.m. Tuesday of a male walking around the area with a hammer near some vehicles on the 500 block of Washington Street. Officers responded and found two young boys digging in a snowbank using a hammer to help them dig.
THEFT — A report at 4:18 p.m. Tuesday of cash stolen on the 700 block of Laurel Street.
