Crosby police
HARASSMENT — Officers received a report Friday of harassing text messages between an Ironton resident and two Deerwood residents. Details of the situation were received and officer advised all to give their phone buttons a rest. A long rest.
ASSAULT — Officers received a report Friday that a juvenile male had been sprayed in the eyes with an unknown substance by another juvenile male. Officer is investigating.
SUSPICIOUS —At approximately 2 a.m. Sunday, officer responded to a business on West Main Street and Cross Avenue after receiving a report of an extremely intoxicated, shirtless male was walking on West Main Street.
Officer was unable to locate the male, but then learned a bus had picked him up. While checking the area, officer then noted a female who had fallen and sustained an injury on Cross Avenue. While attempting to assist her and awaiting arrival of medical personnel, “a large, loud crowd, who were yelling various not very nice ‘expletives’ to the officer, had to be advised several times to call it a night.
We understand there was a purple defeat, but why take it out on the men in blue? At least we don’t wear green.”
Officers responded Saturday in the area of Third Street Northwest on a report of a male walking around with a possible rifle. Unable to locate.
Baxter police
PROPERTY DAMAGE — GNC, 14136 Baxter Dr., Monday reported that angry customers wrote sexually explicit graffiti on store sign.
Brainerd police
ARREST — A 18-year-old man was arrested at 2:29 p.m. Monday for making terroristic threats and fifth-degree assault after a report of a subject in a vehicle who flashed a gun at the complainant.
Crow Wing sheriff
ARREST — A 44-year-old man was arrested at 1:33 a.m. Saturday for fleeing a peace officer and driving under the influence after a report of a pursuit on Highway 210 and Crow Wing County Road 142. The driver was removed from the vehicle and arrested without incident.
