Litzau's next court hearing to be continued to May
■ Litzau’s next court hearing to be
continued to May
Level 3 Predatory Offender Robert Arthur Litzau appeared for an omnibus hearing Wednesday in Crow Wing District Court, where Judge Richard A. Zimmerman continued the hearing for 1:30 p.m. May 8.
Litzau was charged with felony crimes of violation of predatory offender registration requirements and obstructing legal process with force for an incident that occurred in Pequot Lakes in February of 2011 in which a Pequot Lakes Police officer suffered minor injuries while attempting to arrest Litzau.
In December, Litzau was sentenced in Cass County for the felony crimes of violation of predatory offender registration requirements and burglary of a dwelling for offenses occurring in the Pine River-Backus area between approximately May 5 and May 27, 2010.
Litzau was then sentenced to serve two years in prison, minus the time he has already spent in custody.
The judge also imposed a 10-year conditional release period, which was triggered by the fact that Litzau is a Level 3 Predatory Offender.
