Crosby mayoral candidate James Jesse Hunter, who was charged March 22 with fifth-degree sexual assault-non-consensual sex contact and disorderly conduct, appeared for his jury trial Wednesday in Crow Wing District Court.
The trial was not completed Wednesday, and was continued by Judge Erik Askegaard to Thursday.
Hunter, 63, pleaded not guilty to the charges on March 30.
Court documents report that Hunter has a Deerwood address.
