Crow Wing sheriff

ANIMAL — A report at 9:13 p.m. Saturday that her granddaughter was attacked by a pit bull in Riverton.

SHOOTING — A report at 9:11 a.m. Saturday of a 12-year-old walking to the store when he was hit by a BB on Birchdale Road in Brainerd.

TRESPASS — A report at 8:17 p.m. Sunday of six males possibly living on the back of the property on the 20000 block of Svoboda Road in Brainerd.

ASSAULT — A report at 3:41 a.m. Sunday that his girlfriend pulled a knife on him in Brainerd.

ARRESTS — Larry Vanroekel, 57, was arrested at 6:14 p.m. Friday after a report of a burglary on Barbara Lane. Vanroekel was booked for felony third-degree burglary; misdemeanor possession of 1.4 grams of marijuana; and court pending felony for receiving stolen property. An earlier report relating to Vanroekel was reported at 2:59 p.m. on Highway 6 in Crosby where “a suspect vehicle from his burglary was just located on his property.”

PROPERTY DAMAGE — A report at 6:23 a.m. Friday of a squad versus deer crash on Crow Wing County Road 11 and Buschmann Road in Breezy Point.

FIRE — A report at 2:11 p.m. Sunday of her yard on fire in Trommald.

Baxter police

OTHER — A female driver called Monday and wanted to leave a man in the parking lot at SuperAmerica, 5610 Fairview Road, because he had dropped her off years ago and left her. Male refused to get out of the vehicle. While on the phone, the male left and caller did not want officers and would not give any information.

Crosby police

DRIVING — A report Oct. 2 of a driver of a motorcycle in the area of First Avenue and West Main Street appeared to be too large for the bike.

TRESPASS — A report Friday of three juveniles who had entered a garage in the area of Glenn Avenue. The juveniles stated they had stepped into the garage to get out of the wind. They were advised they were trespassing.

ANIMAL — A report Thursday that several kittens were found in a garbage bin near Poplar Street Southwest. The kittens were rescued by a citizen and taken to Heartland Animal Rescue Team in Baxter.
