Brainerd police
ARREST — A report at 8:54 Wednesday of a fight on the 200 block of South Seventh Street. Report believed to have a gun involved. Brainerd police arrested 20-year-old Chris James Mcnurlan of second degree assault, underage consumption and disorderly conduct.

INFORMATION — A report at 8:47 p.m. on Tuesday in Royalton of two people staying in a tent and not cleaning up their garbage. Complainant stated she also believed there was drug paraphernalia lying around. When questioned what the paraphernalia was, she stated there was a pop can laying on the ground with a straw in it. After investigation, pop can contained no residue and people at the campsite were advised to cleanup before leaving.
ARREST — 57-year-old Mary Jo Kierstadt was arrested at 11:05 p.m. Aug. 25 for a fourth-degree driving while intoxicated.
Brainerd fire
ALARM — A report at 9:07 a.m. Wednesday of a fire alarm at Baxter School. Cleared.
Fire
A smoldering recreational fire was reported at 10:05 a.m. Wednesday at 1104 Mill Ave.
The Garrison Fire Department responded to a car fire about 11:30 a.m. Wednesday along County Road 10 about four miles from Garrison. No one was injured. The vehicle, which was parked at the time of the fire, was destroyed.
