ARREST — 21-year-old Joshua James Thomas was arrested at 11:32 a.m. Monday when his employer, Pine Square reported the theft of lottery tickets. Thomas was arrested for felony state lottery fraud, felony probation violation and misdemeanor theft.
THEFT — Received a report at 3:04 p.m. Monday on 7612 Wise Road of a male cutting the lock off a lock box on a self-service vegetable stand.

ARRESTS — Deputies responded at 9:30 p.m. Monday in Emily of a disturbance. 26-year-old September Laborde and 39-year-old Jason Schneider were both arrested for domestic assault.
WELFARE CHECK — Received a report at 1:32 p.m. Monday of a male who killed a cat and won’t let the complainant get the rest of her stuff. She also reported suspect hit victim with a sack of change.

INJURED — Received a report at 11:15 p.m. Aug. 24 of a motorcycle accident on Crow Wing County Road 127. 61-year-old Scott Cleveland of Rogers we traveling westbound down Crow Wing County Road 127 when he swerved to avoid a fox that ran across the road in front of him. Cleveland lost control and crashed in the ditch. He was transported by ambulance to Essentia Health Center and was discharged.
Received a report at 1:32 p.m. of a broadside crash at the intersection of Highway 371 and 233rd Street in Morrison County. A box delivery truck was traveling west on Country Road 48/233rd Street, attempting to cross Highway 371. He failed to yield to a van in the right lane of southbound Highway 371. The driver of the delivery truck, 60-year-old Richard Denny of Wadena had no apparent injury. Tracey Green, 54, Faribault, was driving the second vehicle and had non-life threatening injuries. Passengers in the van included 74-year-old Marion Greene, 52-year-old Renee Perron, both of Faribault, and 33-year-old Anna Amundson, city unknown, all were treated and released.
