ROBBERY — A report at 2:15 p.m. Monday that a man was robbed by gunpoint on the 200 block of South Seventh Street by a male on foot. After a brief investigation, it was unfounded.
ARREST — Delbert J. Weiss, 22, was arrested at 1:17 a.m. Tuesday on the 2400 block of Oak Street for second-degree driving while intoxication and a hit and run.
DUCKS — Brainerd Parks and Recreation Monday reported that someone killed six ducks at Memorial Park, 1700 Mill Avenue and they were found in the garage.

SHOOTING — A report at 11:32 a.m. Thursday in Hewitt that someone was shot with a BB gun. While carrying a loaded BB gun with the safety on “off,” a juvenile male accidently pulled the trigger, causing the .177 caliber BB to shoot another juvenile male in the right side of the forehead area. The juvenile was transported to Tri-County Hospital in Wadena by personal vehicle. The BB was surgically removed and he was later released.

DISTURBANCE — A report Aug. 13 of a disturbance, assault and possibly a male with a knife at a business on West Main Street. Officers made contact and learned the suspect left the scene. Male suspect was known and officers later made contact with him, learning the knife was actually a pen. Victim just wanted incident documented and no criminal charges at this time. All over a game a pool.
THEFT — A report Aug. 13 of a theft from a yard on Fifth Street Northeast. Upon checking into the situation, officer learned that the item had been borrowed by a neighbor a while ago and the owner was getting it back. After much conversation, owner agreed to allow the neighbor to use the item for a longer period of time.
ARREST — Derek Lee Brown, 33, of Ironton was arrested Aug. 15 for felony domestic assault at a residence on First Street Southwest.

ARREST — Zachary Bennett was arrested at 11:20 p.m. Saturday on County Road 7 for drug possession.
FIRE — Assisted the Staples Fire Department at 8:51 p.m. Aug. 13 to a kitchen fire at Lakewood Pines Apartment, 1702 Airport Road N.E.

ASSIST — Assisted Breezy Point Police at 2:45 a.m. Saturday with a fight at a resort on Breezy Point Drive.
DISTURBANCE — A report at 4:57 p.m. Aug. 15 of a suspect pulling an Exacto knife on her and then threw it in the woods in Pine River.
