ANIMAL — A report at 7:27 p.m. Sunday of an unknown wild animal which was under a riding lawnmower. Officers assisted the homeowner with getting what was believed to be a woodchuck out from underneath their lawnmower.
A report at 8:20 p.m. Friday of a black bear in a tree, north of Nebraska Avenue, between Second and Third Street Southwest. The DNR assisted and the bear was given a police escort out of town.
DOMESTIC — Officers responded to a verbal domestic at 8:54 p.m. May 15 in the city of Staples, where a mother and son were arguing about household chores. Both were advised to stop the arguing or one of them would have to leave for the night.
FIRE — A report at 10:37 p.m. Friday that lightening struck an utility pole and started it on fire on the 7000 block of Excelsior Road.
ARRESTS — Sandra Dee Koering, 47, was arrested at 12:58 a.m. Saturday on College Drive and Quince Street for third-degree driving while impaired.
WELFARE — A report at 4:43 p.m. Friday that two very young kids, one was naked and the second was in a blue shirt carrying a knife in the roadway on First Avenue Northeast and F Street. The kids were reunited with the father, who was advised that a report would be forwarded to social services.

ARRESTS — Sanadius Fiddler, 43, was arrested at 4:30 a.m. Saturday for domestic assault in Breezy Point.
