Mundem's next court hearing set
A 46-year-old Nisswa area man charged March 23 in Crow Wing County District Court with second-degree assault with a dangerous weapon and third-degree assault with substantial to cause bodily harm and one count of domestic assault appeared in court Wednesday.
Judge Erik Askegaard set Mark Anthony Mundem’s next omnibus hearing for 9 a.m. May 8.
Mundem — who is accused of causing head, jaw, arms and rib area injuries to his wife — was arrested at his residence located on County Road 13, near Nisswa following a report of a physical domestic. When Crow Wing County sheriff’s deputies entered the home they saw the man in possession of a hand gun.
