Baxter police

DISTURBANCE — A report at 2:31 p.m. Monday of a male starting to yell at her for taking his parking space at Walmart, 7295 Glory Road. The complainant was scared to leave the store.

Crosby police

RESCUE — A report Saturday on Oak Street that a driver in a vehicle was trapped in the car wash. Crow Wing County deputy and officer responded and noted that one of the garage doors was frozen to the cement. Door was freed as was a very clean vehicle.

DISTURBANCE — A report Sunday in the area of Superior Avenue of a citizen hearing a lot of yelling and screaming. Officers were able to locate the source of the disturbance on Erie Avenue. All involved had been drinking and arguing for a few hours.

ARRESTS — A 22-year-old Emily man was arrested Saturday for third-degree driving while intoxicated, possession of a small amount of marijuana and speeding.

A 39-year-old Crosby resident was arrested Thursday after receiving information that a female with a felony warrant out of Kansas City was at a business in Deerwood.

OTHER — A report Thursday that some kids were throwing snowballs at their house on Fourth Street Southwest. Officers located two juvenile males a few blocks away, who denied any involvement.

THEFT — A report Feb. 8 of a theft of a motor vehicle that occurred within the past few weeks while parked on Third Street Southwest.

A report Feb. 6 of a theft of lights from a garage at a residence on Oak Street.

Brainerd police

PROPERTY DAMAGE — Tasha Tellers Monday reported the windows of her vehicle were broken on the 700 block of Front Street.

A report at 5:39 p.m. Monday of a light post down at South Seventh Street and Quince Street.

ARRESTS — A 22-year-old man was arrested at 7:47 p.m. Monday for third-degree DWI after a report of a subject who was intoxicated and threatening the complainant.

A 64-year-old man was arrested at 7:18 p.m. Monday on the 600 block of Bluff Avenue for driving after cancellation, inimical to public safety.

A 43-year-old woman was arrested at 1:53 p.m. Monday on the 500 block of Quince Street on a warrant for theft out of Anoka County after a report of a burglary in progress.

A 18-year-old man was arrested at 11:13 a.m. Monday for disorderly conduct after a report of road rage at Southeast 11th Street and Quince Street.

SCHOOL — Todd Sauer, principal at Lowell Elementary School, 704 Third Ave. N.E., Monday reported a student who ran from the school. While officers were en route, the student had returned back to the school.

Staples police

HARASSMENT — A report at 8:42 a.m. Saturday of a complainant saying she had two encounters where another woman passed by her in public on Fourth Street Northeast and gave her the middle finger.

ANIMAL — A report at 5:47 p.m. of a muskrat on Second Avenue Northeast. A kid was chasing the muskrat and it went under a vehicle. The officer advised the kid to leave it alone and it would leave.

CITATIONS — Two juvenile males were cited for disorderly conduct after a report at 1:12 p.m. Thursday of a fight at Staples Motley High School, 401 Centennial Lane Northeast.

ARRESTS — A 55-year-old man was arrested at 5:24 a.m. Sunday on the 900 block of Second Avenue Northeast after a probation violation where he was consuming alcoholic beverages and wasn’t suppose to.

A 49-year-old woman was arrested at 8:07 p.m. Friday after a report of a disorderly woman, who refused to leave Lefty’s Bar, 423 Second Ave. N.E. The woman was transported to the hospital due to her level of intoxication and she also was cited for disorderly conduct.

A 40-year-old man was arrested at 1:45 p.m. Friday after a traffic stop on the 300 block of Third Street Southeast. When officers stopped the vehicle the man fled on foot, but after a short foot pursuit, he was apprehended.

BURGLARY — A burglary was reported at 4:47 a.m. Friday at a storage unit situated Highway 10. a 53-inch TV was taken.

SCAM — A report Feb. 7 of a phone scam. The reporting party stated that she had received a phone call from a male who claimed that he was her grandson. He had called to tell her that he was going to Peru to attend a wedding. A few days later, another phone call, and the same male reported that he had been involved in an automobile accident and needed $2,200 before leaving the country. He asked the complainant to wire the money by Western Union to Peru.

THEFT — Kevin Coughlin, 900 block of Eighth Street Northeast, Feb. 6 reported a theft of a coin jar that had an estimated $100 worth of change.

Little Falls police

ARRESTS — A 24-year-old was arrested at 11:27 p.m. Sunday on the 1300 block of First Avenue Northeast for driving under the influence.

A 23-year-old was arrested at 4:06 p.m. Sunday on the 700 block of Fifth Street Northeast after a report of a civil process.
