Brainerd police

SUSPICIOUS — A report at 12:08 a.m. Friday of an older male attempting to get into apartments on the 600 block of Laurel Street. Officers met with man who was looking for a place to sleep for a few hours.

A report at 9:08 p.m. Thursday of a woman screaming from an apartment above a business on the 700 block of Laurel Street. Officers were unable to locate a disturbance.

A report at 4:11 p.m. Thursday on the 1900 block of South Seventh Street of a subject yelling at kids in the alley. Officers checked it out and everything was OK.

ARRESTS — A 47-year-old woman was arrested at 9:45 p.m. Thursday on the 600 block of James Street on a county warrant for a misdemeanor theft.

A 17-year-old female was arrested at 5:03 p.m. Thursday on three Crow Wing County warrants and was issued a citation for possession of tobacco after a report of juveniles on the trail on the 600 block of Southeast 11th Street smoking. A 16-year-old male also was cited for possession of tobacco and a 15-year-old male was cited for possession of drug paranalia.

A 49-year-old man was arrested at 10:24 a.m. Thursday on the 1200 block of Laurel Street on a Department of Corrections warrant for first-degree Driving While Intoxicated.

Baxter police

EXTRA PATROL — Northern Psychiatric Associates, 7115 Forthun Road, Thursday requested extra patrol as the building was egged the night before.

FRAUD — A report Thursday of a possible check fraud.

Crow Wing sheriff

ARRESTS — A 50-year-old woman was arrested at 2:11 p.m. Thursday in Hubbard County on a county warrant.

ASSIST — Assisted the Crosslake Police Department at 9:12 p.m. Thursday with a possible prowler complaint.

A 31-year-old man was arrested on a county warrant of felony probation violation of fifth-degree possession of controlled substance.

GARBAGE DUMPING — A report at 11:21 a.m. Thursday of finding large rolls of fabric in a gravel pit on his property in Fort Ripley.

Little Falls police

THEFT — Coborn’s Video, 1101 Second Ave. N.E., Thursday reported a theft.

A report at 5:12 p.m. Wednesday on the 800 block of First Street Southeast that her 6-year-old daughter is missing her Kindle Fire, estimated value of $200.

A Burlington Northern employee Wednesday reported a theft of a Toshiba, black in color, lap top computer from the depot station office, 300 First St. N.W.

DISTURBANCE — A report at 8:36 p.m. Wednesday of a loud noise on the 200 block of Third Street Southeast. The subject was dismantling appliances in his garage and was making a lot of pounding noise.
