Brainerd police, who provide flight security, noted a passenger had a prohibited item in his carry-on luggage, namely .22 caliber ammunition in a backpack. Brainerd Police Chief Corky McQuiston said the ammunition was destroyed and the passenger was allowed to board the plane. McQuiston said the ammunition was unintentionally left in the backpack, which occasionally happen as passengers carry Mace pepper spray or other items in pockets and forget about them being there.
