Richey arrested for violation of probation limits
Kenneth Richey was arrested Friday for violating conditions of his release on criminal charges filed April 5 accusing him of felony terroristic threats, gross misdemeanor stalking with intent to injure, misdemeanor obstruction of the legal process and misdemeanor disorderly conduct. In that case he was accused of being intoxicated and threatening a Baxter woman and detox staff.
Richey also faces charges of felony second-degree assault, three counts of felony terroristic threats and one count of misdemeanor domestic assault stemming from a January, 2010, incident in which he allegedly assaulted his son with a baseball bat.
Richey, who was released on his own recognizance following the arrest, appeared on probation violation and violating an order for protection charges Tuesday in Crow Wing County District Court.
Richey’s next court appearance on the April 5 charges is at 2 p.m. on June 7.
