July hearing set for Aitkin attorney on drug charges
A contested omnibus hearing has been set July 26 for an Aitkin-based attorney accused of possessing of methamphetamine and the psychostimulant medication Adderall.
Jennifer Lynn Cummings, 41, appeared in Crow Wing County District Court on Tuesday. She was charged Feb. 23 with two counts of felony fifth-degree possession of drugs.
According to the criminal complaint, Cummings bought the drugs from an undercover officer with the Lakes Area Drug Investigative Division at a Brainerd residence. The meeting between Cummings and the officer was set up by an informant Cummings had purchased drugs from in the past, court documents said.
