FIRE — At 1:54 p.m. Wednesday officers responded the 7000 block of College Road for a report of a mattress placed into a Dumpster and set on fire. The information was forwarded to investigators.
CRASH — No injuries were reported in a crash at 10:38 a.m. Wednesday at Woida Road and Highway 371.

THEFT — Linsey Reese, 800 block of Quince Street, Wednesday reported her vehicle stolen.
West Brainerd Amoco, 721 W. Washington St., on Wednesday reported a man picked up his vehicle without paying the $40.74 towing bill.
CRASHES — No injuries were reported in a crash at 2:37 p.m. Wednesday on the 200 block of North Ninth Street.
No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle collision at 1:28 p.m. Wednesday on the 200 block of South Sixth Street.
A theft from a gym locker was reported Wednesday at Brainerd High School, 702 S. Fifth St.

PROPERTY DAMAGE — Melissa Boggs, 20000 block of Crow Wing County Road 3, Wednesday reported damage to his mailbox.

ANIMAL COMPLAINT — At 7:45 a.m. Thursday an anonymous caller requested a deputy check on a sick cow in a pasture at 30th Street and 100th Avenue near Bowlus. The caller said the cow had been laying in the pasture in the same area for about a week and it appeared ill.
SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY — On Wednesday a woman reported vandalism and finding syringes and other items at a property she bought on the 3000 block of Cable Road near Swanville.
FIRE — Assisted the DNR and Foley Fire Department with a swamp fire at 10:35 a.m. Wednesday on the 7000 block of Partridge Road near Pierz.
