Who are these men?
The Brainerd Police Department is asking for help from the public in identifying two men who stole a vehicle last week from a Brainerd gas station.
Investigator Craig Katzenberger said the vehicle was stolen about 12:10 a.m. on Feb. 9 from SuperAmerica, 1223 S. Sixth St.
The owner of the vehicle had gone into the store to pay for gas when two men, who were hiding along side the building, got into the vehicle and stole it, Katzenberger said.
Shortly after the theft one of the vehicle’s licenses plates was found on the 1600 block of South Seventh Street. Katzenberger said the license plate was most likely dislodged after the vehicle struck a snow bank.
The vehicle, slightly damaged, was later recovered in Morrison County, Katzenberger said.
Investigators were able to get photos of the two suspects from surveillance cameras in SuperAmerica but so far have been unable to identify the men, Katzenberger said. Anyone with information is asked to call the Brainerd Police Department at (218) 829-2805.
