Brainerd Public Schools Superintendent Steve Razidlo was named Administrator of Excellence by The Minnesota Association of School Administrators (MASA).
Razidlo will be “honored for his leadership, concern for students, and active involvement in professional and community affairs” at a statewide recognition ceremony to be held at the MASA/MASE spring conference, March 13-14 in Brooklyn Park.
“Razidlo’s achievements reflect his ability to lead important changes in the educational system,” according to MASA.
“He has served as the superintendent for the Brainerd Public Schools since 2008, working to provide the best possible educational programs for students. Under his leadership three schools were named Reward, and two named Celebration Schools in the Minnesota Department of Education’s Multiple Measurements Rating. Razidlo was also a co-creater of the National Career Readiness Certificate Pilot Program and facilitated a local workforce development partnership with the Chamber of Commerce and Central Lakes College.
“Razidlo is an active member in MASA, serving on the Region V leadership team and participating on multiple MASA committees.”
Each year, MASA recognizes members for their contribution to public education. MASA is a professional organization of Minnesota’s school leaders, including superintendents, assistant superintendents, directors of special education, and other central office administrators, as well as state department administrators, college, and university professors, and other educators throughout Minnesota dedicated to educational leadership for students.
