Snow showers and blowing snow will continue late this evening over portions of the northland as gusty winds continue. Snow showers will continue in spots as well... further reducing visibilities. Additional snowfall overnight will range from a couple tenths of an inch to some localized one inch amounts.
Wind chill values are expected to plummet into the 40 to 60 below zero range at times later tonight into Tuesday morning. Air temperatures will drop into the 20s and 30s below zero in much of the northland. Strong northwest winds will make conditions dangerous for outdoor activity.
