CROSBY — The fifth- and sixth-graders will meet at the Cuyuna Range Youth Center on Wednesdays right after school. The after-school tutoring will continue every Wednesday for those wanting or need a little extra help right after school.
Starting in January, the Cuyuna Range Youth Center will begin the GO Program which is a monthly community collaboration with the Care Center. The GO Program (Generational Opportunities is designed to bring generations together for their mutual enrichment. GO offers a wide variety in intergenerational activities. These include a number of activities for the seniors and youth in the community. The objective of the GO Program is to bring generations together by sharing generational opportunities. Our activities will emphasize intergenerational friendships, generational learning and youth education in community values. The Cuyuna Range Youth Center will host the seniors on the first Wednesday of the month for bingo from 3:30 to 5:50 p.m. The youths from the center will be attending one or more activities per month at the Care Center. The first event the youths will attend is the “Winter Wonderland Ball” at the Care Center on Jan. 18.
