Broadside crash causes injuries Friday

Broadside crash injures two from Little Falls

A Friday crash in Morrison County on Highway 27 and Pine Ridge Road left two injured.

The two-vehicle crash was reported at 6:02 p.m. Mary Geise, 65, Little Falls, was driving a passenger car east on Highway 27. Alcuin Faust, 76, of Pierz was driving a truck heading west on the highway.

The state patrol reported Faust attempted a left turn and didn’t see the oncoming vehicle when he turned into it.

Mary Geise and her husband, Elmer Geise, 71, both suffered non-life threatening injuries. Mary Geise and Faust were both wearing seat belts. Faust was not reported injured. It was unknown if Elmer Geise was belted in at the time of the crash, the patrol reported.

The Geises were transported to St. Gabriel’s Hospital in Little Falls. The Morrison County Sheriff’s office assisted at the scene.
