MNSure representative Laura Beilke will present information about the Minnesota health care insurance exchange at a Rosenmeier Forum on Monday at Central Lakes College’s Chalberg Theater. The presentation is open to the public, there is no admission charge and refreshments will be served. The presentation begins at 7 p.m.
MNsure is the Minnesota program to help people make the transition to the Affordable Care Act by making the programs and options available to Minnesotans in one location that can be accessed by phone or online. There is much interest in understanding how the program works for individuals and how to get started.
Beilke brings more than 10 years of experience with nonprofit organizations. She served as United Way of Crow Wing County’s community impact director, before assuming the executive director position for Youth as Resources. Recently Beilke was employed with Essentia Health working with patient registration. Beilke graduated from the University of Minnesota with a bachelor’s degree in speech communication.
The presentation will be an explanation of the program and will serve to update attendees on how to navigate the MNsure website and search for appropriate insurance plans.
The program will be moderated and will include a question and answer period.
