C-I School District gives back To community
CROSBY — The United Way of Crow Wing and Southern Cass Counties kicked off their annual fundraising campaign in September at the 2013 Chili Cook-Off. This year, as part of the campaign, the Crosby-Ironton School District is joining a network of companies that give their employees the opportunity to financially support the community, including Cuyuna Regional Medical Center and Graphic Packaging. The money donated stays local to support agencies such as Cuyuna Range Youth Center, Cuyuna Range Food Shelf, Salem West, Bridges of Hope, Kinship Partners, Crow Wing County Victim Services, Girl Scouts Pines & Lakes, Care N Share, Sexual Assault Services and many others. Funding through United Way of Crow Wing & Southern Cass Counties helps over 2,000 families in our area become self-sufficient through income, education, and health programs. United Way is a community owned and operated 501(c)3. More information can be found at: www.unitedwaynow.org.
