Cass County offers flu shots
WALKER — In efforts to increase accessibility to flu shots in the Cass County community, Cass County Public Health announces the flu vaccine is now available for children and adults who are uninsured and underinsured. Uninsured refers to those who do not have any health insurance coverage and underinsured refers to those who have health insurance that does not cover vaccination or is subject to deductibles. The recommended contribution fee for administration of shots is $5per shot, if able to afford.
For those who are fully insured with vaccine coverage, flu shots are offered and billed to your insurance. Please bring your insurance cards with you.
Community Flu Clinics with all ages welcome are from noon to 5 p.m. Oct. 15, at Cass County Health, Human and Veterans Services located at 400 Michigan Ave in Walker; and from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Oct. 17, at Cass County Government Office 218 Washburn Ave E in Backus.
