A benefit for Jack Barry is scheduled from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Timbermist, located on County State Aid Highway 3, four miles north of Brainerd.
Barry was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia in late March and began treatment in April. Barry lives in Brainerd and worked as an engineer/carpenter at Essentia Health-St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Brainerd. Barry is married to wife DeAnn and they have three grown children.
Organizers said the benefit will include food, music, silent and live auctions, games and raffle. Raffle items include: a 50-inch smart TV, fishing rod and snow shoes.
