BHS Hall of Fame dinner changes venue
The Brainerd High School Distinguished Achievement Hall of Fame 2013 has changed the venue for the Oct. 4 dinner.
The 2013 induction and celebration dinner is planned for Oct. 4 at the Timbermist in Merrifield. Tickets may be purchased for $25 each. Tickets are available at 454-6921 or the superintendent’s office at 454-6912 or by mail (send a check with names and information to the Brainerd Public School Foundation (BPSF), 804 Oak St., Brainerd, MN 56401). Tickets may also be purchased at the door but event organizers suggest those people call ahead so they can be included in the dinner plans. The ticket includes dinner, dessert and coffee. A cash bar will be available.
The night’s schedule is:
5 p.m. — Social hour and cash bar with live classical music.
6 p.m. — Short introductory program followed by dinner.
7 p.m. — Inductee presentations and program and dessert with coffee.

The 2013 inductees are Bill Potvin, Sheila Wasnie Haverkamp and Connie Marshall-Grittner.
The Brainerd High School Distinguished Hall of Fame’s three premier sponsors are the Brainerd Public Schools Foundation, the Brainerd Noon Rotary Club and the Brainerd Dispatch.

The Hall of Fame was established in 1999 to honor graduates of Brainerd High School for distinguished achievements and careers.
