Firefighters respond to several calls
The Brainerd Fire Department responded to several fire alarm calls Wednesday.
The first call came at 12:11 p.m. Wednesday to a vehicle fire in the parking lot at Gander Mountain, 14275 Edgewood Dr., Baxter.
At 3:02 p.m., firefighters responded to a possible dryer fire on the 5000 block of Brentwood Drive in Baxter. Firefighters were canceled en route.
Firefighters were called at 3:56 p.m. Wednesday on the 500 block of Second Avenue Northeast to check on a carbon monoxide detector. At 4:07 p.m., Brainerd fire responded to the Crow Wing County Community Service Building, 204 Laurel Street, to check on a smoke alarm. It turned out to be a false alarm.
