Crashes with injuries reported
Firefighters responded to three crashes with injuries during the weekend with one involving a Baxter Police car.
The first crash with minor injuries was reported about 9 p.m. on Highway 371 south of the Highway 210 intersection. A gas tank was punctured and firefighters handled the fuel spill.
A second crash at 6:57 p.m. Saturday at the Highway 371 and Highway 210 intersection involved a Baxter police car and a passenger vehicle.
A third crash was reported at 10:01 p.m. Saturday on Highway 371 and College between a motorcycle and car. No further information on injuries was immediately available.
Storm may have sparked alarm
A fire alarm on the 7900 block of Greenwood Drive may have been caused by a lightning strike upsetting the alarm system.
No fire was found in the apartment.
