■ Hairball will perform even if it rains
BREEZY POINT — The Northern Lakes Lightning Youth Hockey will bring the Hairball concert in from the outside if it rains on Saturday in Breezy Point.
The concert is scheduled for 8 p.m. in the Breezy Point Ice Arena parking lot but if it rains, the concert will be moved inside the arena.
Gates will open at 5 p.m. with Decade 7 and the opening band Arena.

■ Benefits for 1-year-old with leukemia
Two benefits will be conducted for Taylor Grace Nguyen, a 19-month-old who was diagnosed with leukemia in July.
The first fundraiser will be from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday in front of Gander Mountain. There will be sloppy joes, wristbands, advance dinner tickets, and other opportunities to donate to this family’s medical expenses.
Another benefit will start at 5 p.m. on Sept. 14 at Ruttger’s Bay Lake Lodge.
Social hour starts at 5 p.m. and a turkey dinner is at 6 p.m., silent auction will be open from 5–7 p.m. There will be a DJ, wall of wine, Hammerslaugen, henna tattoos and more.

■ Aiport commission closed meeting postponed
The closed Brainerd Lakes Regional Airport Commission meeting to address the manager’s probationary evaluation scheduled to follow the Sept. 5 commission meeting has been postponed. It has been rescheduled to follow the regular meeting on Oct. 3.
