Two people were injured in separate crashes in Todd County during the weekend.
Angel Klippenes, Staples, lost control of her sports utility vehicle on the snow-packed road and rolled into the ditch, the Todd County Sheriff’s office reported. Klippenes suffered minor injuries. The crash was reported at 5:18 p.m. Friday at the intersection of county roads 21 and 26.
In a separate incident, Allison Coyer, rural Staples, was injured when her Dodge Stratus went out of control on ice-packed roads and went into the ditch at the intersection of County Road 21 and 400th Street. The crash was reported at 6:14 a.m. Friday.
The Todd County Sheriff’s office reported additional crashes where the vehicles left the roads but no one was reported injured. One was on County Road 81 at 6:48 a.m. Friday with another at 5:40 p.m. Friday on county roads 21 and 24.
