Numerous crashes reported on
snowy Saturday
Thinking twice about driving during Saturday’s snowstorm may have been a good idea.
The Minnesota State Patrol reported activity in the Brainerd district included 17 property damage crashes, including six with injuries. One of those crashes in Aitkin County resulted in serious injury.
In addition, 61 vehicles slid off the roadways and troopers provided numerous assists. Area agencies in Baxter and Crow Wing County also reported vehicles in the ditch. The flight at the Brainerd Lakes Regional Airport was also canceled.
