Women hurt in two-vehicle crash Wednesday
MOTLEY — Two women drivers suffered minor injuries in a two-vehicle rear end crash reported at 9:41 a.m. Wednesday along Highway 10 and 321st Avenue, west of Motley, reported the Minnesota State Patrol.
It was reported that Brenda J. Huff, 31 of Motley was traveling eastbound on Highway 10, slowing down to make a right turn onto 321st Avenue, when she was hit from behind from a vehicle driven by Cassie M. Dunrud, 40, New York Mills. It was reported that a semi-tractor was passing in the left lane kicking up snow, which obscured visions. Huff’s vehicle was stopped in the right lane, but it was too late for her to react to prevent the rear end.
The state patrol reported that the road was snow covered.
Both women were taken to Lakewood Health System in Staples to be treated for minor injuries.
