Firefighters respond
The Brainerd Fire Department responded to two calls Tuesday: A gas leak at 6:42 p.m. on 816 South Sixth Street and at 7:10 p.m. a two-vehicle crash on Highway 210 and Knollwood Drive in Baxter. Baxter police reported that there were no injures in the crash.
Firefighters also were called at 1:44 p.m. Wednesday to a fire alarm at the North Star Apartments, 410 East River Road. Firefighters were canceled en route.
