Lost skiers found and other fire calls
Two females lost their way Friday while cross-country skiing on the Larson Ski Trail on Nelson Road, about 1 1/2 miles off Crow Wing County Road 25, northeast of Brainerd, said Brainerd Fire Chief Kevin Stunek. Firefighters were called at 6:32 p.m. when two cross-country skiers got lost on the trail. The women had cellphones and were able to communicate with firefighters until they were found, said Stunek.
Stunek said the skiers were lost for about 15 minutes.
Brainerd Fire also responded to two calls Saturday and two calls Sunday. At 3:37 p.m. Saturday, firefighters responded to a call of a snowmobile that was fully engulfed on the Paul Bunyan Trail, about a fourth-mile west from Beaver Dam Road. It was reported that the fire was extinguished with a fire extinguisher. Then at 10:54 p.m. Saturday, firefighters responded to a carbon monoxide check on 12545 Camwood Trail South in Baxter. It was reported that Xcel Energy responded.
On Sunday, firefighters responded to another carbon monoxide check at 8:54 a.m. on 843 Red Pine Circle. Nothing was found. At 10:01 a.m., firefighters responded to a three-vehicle crash on Highway 371 and Novotny Road in Baxter near Lewie’s RV. It was reported that there were possible minor injuries. The Minnesota State Patrol is handling the crash and no information was available Monday.

If so how come they did not have DWD rescue them?? Oh thats right to many dems by you & they could not find the firestation at that time on a fri night!!!
