WCCO-TV, the CBS News Station in Minneapolis, will broadcast from the Brainerd lakes area this week.
Anchor Frank Vascellaro and meteorologist Chris Shaffer will broadcast live at 5 p.m., 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. on Thursday at Grand View Lodge and again at 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. on Friday, covering Winterfest in Crosslake.
The WCCO staffers will make several stops along the way visiting various places but those are the live locations where people can see them. They’re traveling in the Mobile Weather Watcher Vehicle.

These guys are pulling a fish house behind their weather vehicle.
Now would be your opportunity to point them in the right direction on Roy Lake , so they can catch some Crappies.
You know the spot by the Grand View rental houses where they have easy access on/off lake.
Interesting comment
What does that mean? Is Walleye Dan fishing in that area? or you dont like Walleye Dan?
trying to read your sarcasim.
Who invited them
Who invited these liberal rags up to our pristine conservative country. Come on. what's next, the Star and Trib. Smells like a Little Johnny campaign tactic.
Maybe Frankie can
Maybe Frankie Vaselino can teach us all how to be parents while he's here. Him and Amelia are married now and have a kid ya know. They know all about raising children and are professional parenting instructors. That's all it takes to be a parenting instructor. 1 child and you know it all. Don't believe me. Just watch WCCO. Better yet, save yourself a headache and don't watch it. Bye bye Frankie V.
Frank and Amelia have three kids.
Do a little research.
They have been married quite
They have been married quite a few years and I think have a set of twins and a single. At least they are married and support their kids. He seems to be a real handy guy as well as a hands on dad. One time she said that he does the organizing for the day and gives her a list of errands to do while he gets the kids ready and takes them to school.
I haven't heard them talk about the kids but I usualy chuckle when people who have nannies, house cleaners and cooks tell us how hard it is.
They can all
Stay in the metro....they all talk about "cabin country", like this is their little playground...Frank, Amelia, and Douche Schaefer can all go screw themselves.
It is their playground, get
It is their playground, get over it. Why are you here? To be sarcastic? Thats my job.
Playground
Obviously Itter isn't in the tourism industry that relies on many people coming up to our Playground.... I for one say keep on coming and bring some more SNOW!!!
