Names from accident on Highway 210
and Knollwood released
BAXTER — Baxter Police on Thursday released the names of the individuals involved in the two-vehicle accident Wednesday afternoon at the intersection of Highway 210 and Knollwood Drive.
In a release, Baxter police identified the drivers as John Obermiller, 57, of Pillager, and Grant Vanwyngeeren, 29, also of Pillager. Obermiller was transported to Essentia Health-St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Brainerd and then transferred to St. Cloud. Vanwyngeeren was not injured. Obermiller’s condition was not immediately available on Thursday.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
Crow Wing County Sheriff’s Department, North Ambulance and Brainerd Fire Department assisted on the scene.
